Funny Things on the Internet

I was browsing my social media pages today and saw the funniest post by a REALTOR who has seen some pretty strage rooms, bizarre decor, and mistakes in listings she has shown to Buyers.  She took photos and posted them.  Here are just two examples.  I use these only to point out that when selling your home, you might be a little too close to it to see it through a Buyer's eyes.  That's why an experienced REALTOR can your best friend.  We can tell you what you might want to do to make changes so that your home will appeal to a Buyer.  Sometimes a simple change can make all the difference; but sometimes, there's just no simple solution for WRONG!  (Ehem...see example above.)

This may be amusing to look at, and some of you may be shaking your heads wondering, "What were they thinking!" but in the real world we all want our homes to sell and sell at a fair price.  A home that is presented well, that has general appeal, and is priced correctly is something that is attainable if you use a professional. When it comes to staging your home for a quicker sale or a higher price, I am here to help you.  I can give you the right advice, hook you up with a staging service or provide preliminary tips. Yes, I might have to do a bit of convincing to get you to paint those kitchen cabinets (see below) but in the long run, your home will sell quicker and you will be moving into your new home sooner.
