How To Get Your Home to Sell More Quickly

Image
Psst!  Want to learn a few secrets to selling your home quickly? Listen, everyone has advice...a way to get your home sold quickly, a suggestion or two or five, and fifty ways to spend YOUR money to make it happen.  I know.  I've heard them all.  But then, I've been selling homes for 37 years!  As a professional, I give advice to my clients too. The difference is, I don't want you to waste your money on things that don't work.  I don't like to think of myself as a 'sales person' as much as a 'Lifestyle Adviser'.  I am a consultant who has experience, knowledge, and the desire to help.  When it comes to selling a home, I am happy to collaborate with the Sellers to work on the best marketing approach, the best price and the best way to feature the home in the best light.  It doesn't hurt to have a  great location, but that is not always what you have (not to mention that the location that's good for one may not be for all).  So here

Why Should You Buy a House for Your Dog?

Image
Hello; My name is Kira and in case you haven't noticed, I am a dog.  My Mommy is a REALTOR.  She sells homes to people with dogs.  Homes are really nice places for dogs to live.  I personally find carpets super cofortable; but in the Summertime, I like hard tile floors and air conditioning vents.  As a dog, I have certain responsibilities like guarding the house when Mommy and Daddy are gone.   Here's a picture of me doing my job. I am an advocate for dog's rights.   Dogs need homes.   Dogs need floors and carpets.  Dogs need toilets to drink water out of.  They need windows to look out of.   They need closets to explore and cabinets to open.   They also need yards to dig in and maybe even squirrels to bark at.   So there you have it: my reasons for you to call my Mommy to find you a house for your dog.   Your dog will love you for it.

Why should mortgage rates go up when the Fed cuts the rate?

My knowledgable mortgage boker, Nancy Johnson at Movement Mortgage (919) 607-8739 sent this to me today and I thought that it was interesting and timely.  A worthwhile read for those who were curious: From Mortgage News Dailey: HIGHER Mortgage Rates Despite Fed Rate CUT. Here's Why September 18, 2019 One of the greatest potential sources of confusion for prospective mortgage borrowers is the relationship between the Fed and mortgage rates.  While the Fed's policy changes absolutely have a big impact on all sorts of interest rates (including mortgages), a drop in the Fed's policy rate  DOES NOT  result in lower mortgage rates.  In fact, the  OPPOSITE  was true today.   The  main reason  for confusion is the fact that there's a  huge difference  from an investment standpoint between a rate that governs the  shortest -term transactions (The Fed Funds Rate applies to loans that last for 1 day or less) and a rate that can remain in effect for  u
